Follow your own order

Connect your order with a code from the Boring Order Tracker app and your own car shows up here: with its photo, its timeline and the plates it could be. Only what you pick is shared, and you can undo it whenever you like.

A code lasts ten minutes and works once.

How to get a code

    Install the app

    Boring Order Tracker, 7.2.0 or later on iOS and the latest version on Android, with your Tesla account connected.

    Open the integration

    In the app, under

    Pick your order

    The app first shows exactly which fields it hands over.

  4. 4

    Generate a code

    Type or paste the ten-digit code into the code field.

What is shared

Shared

  • Model and configuration
  • Delivery centre and country
  • Dates, milestones and status
  • Shipping details, where known

Never

  • Your VIN
  • Your order number
  • Your account details and address
  • Anything to do with payment

The app does not hand those out at all. If you want the VIN decoder here, you type the VIN in yourself and it stays in your browser.

Disconnecting

You stop the sharing itself in the Boring Order Tracker app, not here. That way the decision stays where your data lives, and once you do, your order disappears from this site too. My order also has a button that forgets the connection in this browser only.
